Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar granulated
  • 3 large Eggs beaten
  • 29 oz Pumpkin Purée (Canned)
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger ground
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 12 oz Evaporated Milk
  • 1 pound Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 cup Nuts chopped
  • 4 tablespoons Butter sweet, melted
  • 1 Whipped Cream

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° f (180° c).
  2. Mix together sugar, eggs, pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, salt and milk.
  3. Line a 9 x 13-inch pan with wax paper and pour the mixture in.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix on top, then sprinkle the nuts.
  5. Pour melted butter evenly over the cake mix and nuts.
  6. Bake at 350° f (180° c) f for 50 to 60 minutes.
  7. Cool (very important).
  8. Flip over and remove from pan.
  9. Remove the wax paper.
  10. Top with whipped cream (which would dissolve if the cake weren't cooled first).
