Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/3 cup Butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg ground
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups Blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 Butter or margarine, additional, melted
  • 1 Sugar additional

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat eggs.
  3. Blend in milk, butter, nutmeg and vanilla; pour into dry ingredients and mix just until moistened.
  4. Fold in blueberries.
  5. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full.
  6. Bake at 375° f (190° c) for 20 to 25 minutes.
  7. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.
  8. = if using frozen blueberries, rinse and pat dry before adding to batter.
