Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Unflavored Gelatin unflavored
  • 1/2 cup Water cold
  • 1/3 cup Water boiling
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 4 tablespoons Orange Extract or lemon or raspberry
  • 1 Food Coloring use appropriate color to match flavor
  • 1/4 cup Pistachio Nuts chopped
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar

Directions

  1. Soften gelatine in cold water.
  2. Add sugar to boiling water.
  3. Bring to boil.
  4. Stir in softened gelatin.
  5. Simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes.
  6. Add flavoring and coloring.
  7. Pour into ungreased, 8-inch square pan.
  8. Add nuts.
  9. Stir gently.
  10. Chill.
  11. When firm, invert onto cutting board.
  12. Cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes.
  13. Roll in confectioners' sugar.
  14. Store in a jar at room temperature.
  15. Serve with greek coffee.
