Ingredients

Chocolate Part

  • 1/2 cup Walnuts toasted and chopped
  • 1/4 cup Prunes
  • 2 tablespoons Peanut Butter creamy and natural
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate Chips (Semi-Sweet)

Peanut Butter Part

  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter creamy and natural
  • 1/4 cup Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans) drained and finely ground in a food processor
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, add the walnuts, prunes, peanut butter, cocoa powder, vanilla extract and chocolate chips.
  2. Mix until well combined. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, stir together the peanut butter, chickpea paste, and vanilla extract until mix well.
  4. To form a ball, you need to put together about 1/2 tablespoon white batter, 1/2 tablespoon dark batter, and another 1/2 tablespoon white batter, which makes the chocolate part in the centre.
  5. Repeat until all the batters are used up.
  6. Note: The size of the ball can be varied by your preference. The energy balls can be kept in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to at least 1 week.
