Ingredients

  • 500 grams Elbow Macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons Onions chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
  • 1 pinch Black Pepper
  • 1 3/4 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs buttered

Directions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions.
  2. In saucepan sauté onion in butter until tender.
  3. Stir in flour, mustard and pepper: Cook 1 minute.
  4. Blend in milk; cook stirring constantly, until thickened.
  5. Add cheddar, cottage and parmesan cheeses; stir until melted.
  6. Combine macaroni and sauce mixture; mix well.
  7. Por into 8 cup (2l) baking dish.
  8. Top with bread crumbs.
  9. Bake at 350° f (180° c) f about 30 minutes.
