Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rice
  • 5 cups Water
  • 1 Vegetables such as carrot,beans,potato,peas
  • 1/2 cup - dahi
  • 2 Cloves
  • 1 1/2 tsp Dhania Powder
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 4 tsp Salt optional
  • 1/8 tsp Turmeric powder

To Temper

  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Cardamom Pods
  • 2 Cloves
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 2 Red Chili Peppers

To Grind

  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Ginger fresh
  • 4 Green Chili Peppers 4 each green chilli peppers
  • 1 - khus khus

Directions

  1. Grind tomatoes garlic ginger green chilli khuskhus into a fine purée and keep it aside.
  2. Wash and soak rice for some time.
  3. Heat oil in pressure cooker add all ingredients.
  4. Add sliced onions fry until golden brown.
  5. Add chopped vegetables.
  6. Add grinded puree.
  7. Add all spices(turmeric powder red chilli dhaniya powder salt)
  8. Add curd let it fry for some time then add soaked rice mix them well pour water and pressure cook for 2 or 3 whistles.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  10. Serve it with raita.
