Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound Sirloin Steak
  • 2 cups Red Wine
  • 2 tsp Oregano
  • 1 Tbsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley Leaves chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 2 cups Mushrooms halved
  • 1/2 cup Onions chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

Directions

  1. Cut sirloin steak into individual serving pieces.
  2. Marinate steak in next six ingredients for eight hours.
  3. When ready to prepare, sauté mushrooms and onions in oil; set aside.
  4. Brown steak in skillet.
  5. Add worcestershire sauce, mushrooms and onions; simmer for 1/2 hour over low heat.
  6. Remove steak, mushrooms and onions to a large casserole and cover.
  7. With remaining pan juices, prepare a gravy; pour over steak.
  8. Serve with cooked egg noodles.
