Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Butter softened
- 1 cup Light Brown Sugar packed
- 1 Eggs
- 2 tablespoons Ground Flax Seed or 1 Tbs. vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 2 cups Rolled Oats
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 cup Seedless Raisins
Glaze
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Water
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350° f (180° c); spray or grease an 11 x 7 baking dish.
- In a large bowl with electric mixer, beat butter and brown sugar until creamy, about 2 minutes. Add the egg and beat well. Stir in flax seed or vegetable oil and honey. In a small bowl, combine the oats, flour, cinnamon and baking soda; stir into creamed mixture just until blended. Gently stir in raisins.
- Press mixture into prepared dish. Bake for 14 to 18 minutes or until set and edges are lightly browned. Cool on wire rack. Glaze, if desired. Cut into bars.
