Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter soft (real butter only)
  • 2 tablespoons Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2/3 cup Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Directions

  1. Cream butter until light and fluffy.
  2. Add sugar.
  3. Gradually stir in vanilla.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
  5. Blend in flour and salt.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Wrap dough and chill for at least 2 hours.
  8. Lightly flour a pastry cloth and rolling pin.
  9. Roll dough to about 1/8 inch thickness.
  10. Cut into desired shape.
  11. Place 1 inch apart on cookie sheets.
  12. Bake at 350'c. For 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
  13. Cool, frost and decorate.
  14. Makes 5 dozen.
